2026 CHS Application, Lottery & Enrollment for Class of 2030

Results of the CHS Random Selection Lottery:

As stated in our CHS Application & Enrollment Process (below), the first 132 lottery numbers will be offered seats at CHS for the 9th grade class of 2030. Therefore, lottery number “133” automatically becomes number “1” on the waitlist for this class.

ALL applicants will receive a follow-up email with information regarding the immediate next steps.

*If you cannot find the Temporary Student Number that was assigned to you, look through your inbox for an email from durhaml@a2schools.org about your application being received—that email contains your Temporary Student ID.

Please review the list of student numbers posted above to find your temporary student ID number that was assigned to you when your application was accepted as complete.

  • If you find your number, then you are confirmed for entry in the lottery.
  • If you do NOT find your number, call or email Community High School by 4PM, Friday, January 9, 2026 at 734-994-2026 or durhaml@a2schools.org.

The application and enrollment process for the Community High School Class of 2030 was open Tuesday, November 18, 2025 through Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Information Sessions:

CHS Information Sessions were held for prospective students and their parents/guardians to learn about various aspects of Community High School, where they were able to connect with and ask questions of current teachers, students, and parents. There were four in-person CHS information sessions. It was highly recommended that both student and parent/guardian attend one of these sessions to learn about various aspects of Community High School in order to make an informed decision while exploring high school options. Sessions were held on the following dates:

  • Sunday, November 9, 2025, 2:00–3:30 PM (in-person at CHS)
  • Wednesday, December 3, 2025, 7:00–8:30 PM (in-person at CHS)
  • Sunday, December 7, 2025, 2:00–3:30 PM (in-person at CHS)
  • Tuesday, December 9, 2025, 7:00–8:30 PM (in-person at CHS)
